Pompeii by Night
Once again, starting from June 15 and ending in mid November, the Archaeological site of Pompeii will be open after sunset. Every weekend, visitors will be allowed to experience the night before the eruption on Vesuvius.
From Porta Marina to Basilica, the visit will be lit by candles and torches, and it will be narrated by a voice (visits in English are only on Saturday) and will guide you through the different sites. This is definitely a unique opportunity to see the archaeological site in a “different light’, getting a better sense of the daily life of Pompeii around 79 AD.
That said, the visit is only 1 hour long, and the entrance ticket is Euro 20 per person (40 Euro for 2 adults and 2 children under 16).
